how do y'all cope when you're at work? I'm a security guard, so I usually pick jobs where I can pretty much work alone.

My condition has gotten so severe over the years that it has crippled me. Mentally. I am legally disabled at 45 years old smh. I miss the old me. Now my husband has to carry the load by working and I just wish I was there to help him with more than just one monthly check. But I do my best. I cook, clean, take care of him when he comes home. I rub his back and feet. We work things out together.

If I can't work alone I've learned the best thing to do is be upfront. I tell my coworkers I have social anxiety. I used to be embarrassed about having to admit that or even tell someone my business, but in reality it has made things easier for me. When I don't feel well because of my anxiety they understand & will back off.
