this is for anyone out there with PANDAS. do you recommend doing a tonsillectomy? is there anything i should watch out for if i undergo one? i’m a PANDAS patient and i just want to be cured and will do absolutely anything to get rid of this awful disease

I had mine out and it didn't do much for me however I do know that it can help and if you go under one you will flare. Everyone's journey is different but I suggest getting them out because if strep is hiding there it could cause a bigger problem.

I’ve heard tonsillectomies are a game-changer for some PANDAS patients (haven’t had one myself)
