Surviving Myxedema Crisis: My Experience

I first presented my non-epileptic seizures & trouble speaking, which can be very scary. If you have thyroid issues & experience this, please ask me questions so you can get the proper help sooner! & see an endocrinologist!! The ER doctors & neurologist could not diagnose me. My neuro work up was normal & they thought I was stressed. But my thyroid levels were wayyyy off!! Dangerously so..

This can be rare & life-threatening. Believe it or not, I was compliant with my synthroid for over 10 years. Would love to share with you all what I have learned & prevent this from happening to others. I am still recovering but have received a lot of clarity with specialists.
