I can't seem to cry or have panic attacks anymore. Instead my body will have physical reactions against my control such as body jolts and muscle weakness. I'm assuming this is psychogenic and maybe related to PTSD because I often experience dissociation and a feeling of anxiety along with it. Anyone have a similar experience?

I have PTSD from a devastating house fire and as a result I have Non-Epileptic Pychogentic Siezures when I see fire of any kind as well as when I see the lights and sirens of Emergancy Response Vehicle’s! It’s been about 5 years and it’s starting to get a bit better. It just takes some time to improve. Talking to a therapist can be very helpful!!!!

ohhhh yeah ive had the physical stress reactions, definitely trauma related
The same has happened to me the past yr I've noticed and it kinda freaks me out and I'll have bad episodes sometimes cuz of overbearing stress i think i can ignore
Instead of having panic attacks with food for about 3 months I had attacks were it seemed like allergic reactions. The one was to stop it was yo take showers for me. Bc it allows u to be calm and feel the water rush.
