I need help I’m freaking out badly. SO BASICALLY I had sex the 17th-18th used a condom and he never “came”. If you know what I mean. And my last period was September 9th-14th I believe. As of today or yesterday technically I got this blood clot looking thing 11 days before my period. I’m very freaked out and terrified. I don’t even wanna leave my room. I want another female to talk to or help me please what is going on. I feel slight cramps too. (I just upped my dosage on Zoloft so maybe that’s important)

Not too uncommon; changing meds, diet, etc can affect how your hormones work. Can cause late periods, irregular periods, etc. blood clots are super common with periods and can look super gnarly! I know it’s tmi but from personal experience, late periods can have some of the worst clots (which is just tissue, mucus and blood buildup.) and it can cause bad cramps. The chances are little to none that you are pregnant, likely just irregular period!

Condoms aren't 100% effective but if he didn't finish and you used a condom you definitely aren't pregnant, which is good to rule that out. I do understand the stress though, when anything is different with your period your mind always jumps to conclusions. I agree with dogdad13, sometimes a pregnancy test telling you what you already know can be reassuring. You can get them at dollar tree instead of paying $10 at another store. Hope things even out soon <3

Hey! I'm a trans man, but I remember the stress of periods! I think like snapcracklepop said it's likely just a blood clot from your previous period. If youre able, pregnancy tests always helped ease my mind when I was intimate with guys before I came out lol
@ajar it definitely could be from the previous one it looked more like uterine lining then a basic period clot if that makes sense lol. I appreciate your comment! I may take one
@Officialishness Make sure to hydrate and do normal things you would do to help cramps, etc!
You just recently ended your period so he most likely just dislodged a residual blood clot. I’ve had cramps in the days following sex too so I think it’s normal
If you used a condom and it didn’t break it’s literally impossible for you to be pregnant

@aries02 yeah no it’s not impossible
@asvprina okay, impossible is the wrong word. But using a condom correctly makes pregnancy extremely unlikely, and she’s clearly very distressed and also definitely has no reason to worry about being pregnant in this instance. There’s no reason to get in the weeds over semantics lmao
@aries02 yeah chances are slim but I’ve never experienced this before so it’s sending me for a loop lol
@Emily55 I have been in the same boat countless times and I know just how scared you are right now and I know how many thoughts are running through your head. But I can assure you that every time a condom has broken when I’ve had sex I have always been able to tell right away. If you’re on any sort of birth control or on a medication that changes your menstruation at all or have been changing your exercise/ eating habits recently or are super stressed you’re uterine lining can sometimes actually be so thin that it flakes off before the egg comes out during your period! That used to happen to me a lot when I was on the pill. Sex could have also dislodged any remaining blood clots from your last period. It’s completely normal and you’re totally safe :) nothing to worry about ❤️
