Birth control definitely helped with peace of mind back before I had a hysterectomy, I’d look into the many different sexual protection options available to see what’d suit you and your situation best.

I’d maybe see your doctor about that even if it’s not something you want it does seem a tad concerning and maybe get on birth control. I’m on the shot and it’s been amazing, me and my bf never use a condom and I also don’t get a period anymore and it’s been wonderful

I’d really recommend getting on some form of birth control.

Do you know if you’re having penetrative sex at a different time in your cycle besides ovulation? That would be why you’re not getting pregnant. Definitely talk with an OBGYN to make sure you’re healthy :)

Why do you not use protection? Is it to see if you’re able to get pregnant?

Why chance getting pregnant thus making anxiety worse? I get it condoms suck, they literally tear me up inside. But I at least take an oral birth control so I can be without them with at least SOME form of protection

I take Junel, an oral form of birth control. I’m on a constant cycle, so instead of skipping a week i just take one every night. this way, i don’t have my period. i would say, since your goal is not to get pregnant, probably just consider trying a form of birth control to ease the anxiety! condoms, the pill, the implant, the shot, your options are endless! (at least it seems like it lol). good luck :)

You need to use protection. It is not going to guarantee that you won’t get pregnant but it will greatly lower your chances. There are other types of contraceptives too. Don’t risk it and take guesses. Be sure and make sure that the both of you are having safe and protected sex.
