Connecting with Others Who Understand Chronic Illness

Hi JojoCat, I work in the health field, even the nurses and doctors don't understand it. Pain is so subjective and when I'm at my worst I try to hide it. My husband is good to me and patient however he has struggled understanding. Just recently he has been going through some of his own health issues and is beginning to understand more about mine. I believe unless a person has experienced cp themselves they have a hard time being empathic. Having CPTSD is even more difficult to explain. Just know, I got it and I get it. It may not pass but we can overcome by being kind to ourselves. 🤗
