I had my first appointment with my new PCP since I moved to a new area and finally got health insurance after a long time of being without. I was prescribed Wellbutrin to help with anxiety. I am not a fan of antidepressants in general and I’m skeptical about this… I’m afraid of gaining weight, losing libido, etc. I have a far worse problem with anxiety than depression and I just want to hear people’s opinions about this medicine. Does this work well for anxiety?

I am on Wellbutrin and it helps my anxiety and depression a lot. No noticable negative side effects for me. Of all antidepressants, however, this one miraculously increased my libido for once!
I take it and yes I have gained weight and lost libido. But my depression improved when they added latuda and Valium and restoral
i take wellbutrin and i have noticed an improvement with anxiety. i started on too high of a dose at first and it caused hallucinations so be careful! a medication i recommended (if you panic a lot) is propranolol. its a beta blocker and basically slows your heart rate. it helps with the physical symptoms of anxiety.
