Does Illness Trigger POTS Symptoms?

I rarely get sick, but last time I did (just a mild cold) I woke up with a resting heart rate in the 150s-160s and it wouldn't go down all day. Was not pleasant

I'm dealing with this right now. Super sucks. All I'm doing is keeping the water and electrolytes up and trying to take it easy, but make sure I'm not laying around all day.

yes, any change of pressure or my body puts me into a flare. personally i only resort to iv fluids when my symptoms are bad enough to go to the ER however i drink up to 4 liquid iv’s ontop of more water and salt when im sick to help prevent it getting to the point of iv fluids
