Hi. I am new to the group. I have been having severe pain in my pelvic region - specifically right back flank pain and front pelvic area. Multiple hospital ER visits and two inpatient visits have uncovered fatty liver disease (75%), renal artery stenosis of the kidney (almost completely blocked) and they are testing me for endometriosis in July. No one has been able to determine what is causing the unbearable thing. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2019 at the age of 20. I am not able to tolerate the usual drugs for PCOS and nothing has been done for that. Are used an IUD that stops the heavy, heavy flow from my period and the unbearable cramps that come with it monthly. Any information on the renal artery stenosis, fatty liver disease, endometriosis or PCOS would be very helpful to me. I’m familiar with PCOS but nothing has been done about it or the possibility of endometriosis coming from the PCOS. All articles I read say that the fatty liver probably comes from the PCOS. Recently I put on about 50 pounds very quickly and my regular doctor said that the PCOS probably was doing that and my inability to lose the weight was probably stemming from the PCOS but had no ideas on how to help me.

I think it’s PCS ( pelvic congestion syndrome ) I have that .. you need a interventional radiologist and you need a abdomen / pelvic ct scan with dye .

This sounds like in part it could be endometriosis. Make sure you find a proper excision specialists to have them removed. If not you will be back in pain later. I know I was. He just burned them off. Not helpful. Endo is like a iceberg. You can’t just take the top off you have to get to the part that’s under water as well. In the meantime check this book out.
