I just had this random pre syncope episode that was really bad and I can’t figure out why. It wasn’t PoTS, heart rate was 62 when standing. My blood pressure was definitely really low though. I thought it might be hypoglycemia but I had eaten plenty and it sort of went away on its own after I laid on the bathroom floor for about 10 minutes. It lasted roughly 20-25 minutes in total. Anyone with any similar conditions have this or know what causes it?

Dysautonomia is an umbrella term that POTS is under, but other symptoms than tachycardia occur in many patients. Orthostatic intolerance could be explaining your pre syncopal episode. Upon standing, blood pressure can drop, causing very similar symptoms of pre-syncope! If you keep having issues, talk to your provider about it!

Orthostatic BP is fairly common. Ppl gat dizzy when they stand up too quickly. It's just something that occurs. Not dangerous but if you're not recovering but 5 or so minutes, it could be a symptom of something else. Buy many healthy ppl experience it.

@Mimi01 i don’t know exactly how low it was but the veins in my wrist usually stick out pretty far and they were flush with the rest of it
