      Some coping tips to distract myself that I went over with my therapist is to go on walks. Another thing I do is looking at pictures of cute cats and dogs on my phone. Another thing is playing games or dancing. It all comes down to distracting yourself away from the thought by doing something that you love or makes you happy. Also remind yourself that he has NO power over you and it’s not your fault.

      There are recent studies showing that playing Tetris helps treat trauma. You could definitely try it while you're having intrusive thoughts and see if it helps

      My therapist also recommended remembering a happy memory or listening to a coping playlist of songs that make me happy before I come to CBT to talk about my CSA. She didn’t recommend doing it after because I might start associating those memories or songs with the CSA trauma.
