Zoloft withdrawal. Can someone who has switched from Zoloft to Prozac (or at least from Zoloft to any other SSRI) tell me how the experience went? I am extremely sick and nauseous and weak and dizzy, I need to know if this gets better. I’ll be done weening off Zoloft by Friday and that’s when I start Prozac. How soon will I notice an improvement.

medications usually take about a month to fully start working, unfortunately. I switched from zoloft to prozac bc of the dizziness and nausea zoloft caused me to not get through the day. I'll be honest, prozac didn't help either and currently I'm not taking any new because idk what works anymore just yet ( I might have a new diagnosis and will try something for adhd sometime soon) so I can understand your frustration. medications are tough, not everyone reacts the same to them. I know some people that prozac helps them. so I guess, just give it a try but watch out if you start to feel funky/different in not a good way/ have allergic reactions within 2 weeks of every meds you'll take, just in case and let your psychiatrist know if you have any questions. I started to ask them why I'm given said medication/ what it's purpose is/how is it different from the previous. sorry I'm bad at explaining, I kinda hope this helped :3
