Relief at Last: My Journey with PMDD and Hysterectomy

I went to the gynecologist today to discuss a total hysterectomy after having PMDD my entire life that’s only gotten progressively worse over the last couple years. It was such a weight lifted off of me hearing a medical professional tell me I’m not crazy and it’s just the PMDD causing my own personal hell on earth. I’m waiting on a call to schedule my surgery and I couldn’t be happier. I know there’s still a long road ahead but I have hope that there may be a chance I won’t have to live with these horrible, debilitating symptoms the rest of my life.
