What kind of specialist should I see? I’ve seen a women’s health doctor and my primary care physician and neither were helpful in treating my PCOS.

My endocrinologist diagnosed me and has helped me with my hormone related stuff with PCOS. However I am also dealing with Thyroid problems on top of PCOS, so I have to see him for my issues anyways. Maybe check in with finding an endocrinologist?

Thanks for the reminder, I mostly asked because I’ve had several instances where a doctors office said they had experience with treating PCOS and then stopped seeing them after a few appointments because it was clear they didn’t actually have that experience. I can hardly afford doctors appointments as is so I’m looking for more ways to find knowledgeable providers without having to pay them to find out.

You can always ask when making an appointment if the doctor is familiar with and can treat PCOS. And if you try one and they don't work for you for whatever reason, you do have to option of "firing" them and not going back.
I think I am going to pursue finding an endocrinologist, I’m just worried about finding one with sufficient knowledge of pcos.
I would also like to know because I have the same problem.
