I was so pissed - like how can I still be there for family? I have MS for 30+ years & I miss so many activities I used to do outside. I’ve been on so many DM’s & my favorite was Tysabri & Ocrevus

I was when I was first dx’d in 2016. I resented it. I hated my body for turning against me. But after a few months, leading to listen to my body, I accepted that this was my life now. Now I pay closer attention to how my body feels and what my body needs (a lot of the time it’s sleep). That helps. It can be a curse, but it can definitely also be a blessing (it forces you to take care of yourself and listen to your body).

Well I'm content with my situation as far as the MS goes, just not some of the other things going on right now.

at the time and the month following, yes. but now after almost a year, i forget that it's even there. sometimes it still hits me, like "woah. i have a chronic illness." but for the most part i'm pretty content.

I was diagnosed in 2006. What a Christmas that was. My diagnosis came as a bit of a shock at the time.

No, I was diagnosed in 2016 but a lot of the major symptoms were showing as early as 2006. With everything that I was going through and reading up on I pretty much prepared myself and knew that I would be diagnosed with MS.

No. I accepted it long ago. What upsets me is any limitations I have because of it.
