Hi, everyone! I have secondary adrenal insufficiency due to long term use of prednisone for an autoimmune disease. I really want off the prednisone so my endocrinologist is trying to work with me. She said no promises but we could try. I made it to 5mg okay but when I got to alternating 4 & 5 every other day I started to notice a difference in the way I felt. When I dropped to 4 every day, I have become so sick. I haven’t been able to get out of bed. She had me bump back up to 5. I’m so discouraged, not to mention feel like death. Have any of you experienced this?
