Need advice on weening off Prednisone

I was on Prednisone for over a year and it completely stopped my body's natural production of cortisol, so my endocrinologist put me on a 6 month plan to slowly reduce mg dosage off if

I am dealing with the side effects of that I have asthma since I was really young and I was on steroids for 10+ years and I have adrenal insufficiency cause of but they would put me on 80-90mgs and lower it and now when my asthma starts acting up I have to have more so try to get weened off

Currently dealing with prednisone moon face and I’m 3-4 weeks away from getting off of it thank god. As long as your doctors have provided you with another medicine plan and you’re feeling good with that, getting weaned off prednisone should be good. I’ve been feeling better every week I’ve gone down a dose so far :)

Yes have definitely been on it for long and short term with plenty of side effects I wish I never would have had to go through, now needing dental surgery because of broken teeth so Yes try to ween of if possible.
