How often do you have flare ups and how do you deal?

My flare ups happen when weather changed harshly or if i over heat my body (movement/exercise too much) for me, I find a place to sit down and take breathers. That usually helps till my flare up goes down. I keep in mind how worse others are then i am snd i look at what i have and be thankful for it.

Mine get worse if I try to push myself to do things I used to be able to do, the only thing (other than meds) that's been helping me is coming to acceptance and understanding that I am not physically the person I used to be. I have to relearn my limitations on nearly a daily basis, and try to keep myself withing those standards to not cause a flare up. Rest and mental mindfulness are difficult things and take constant practice. I'm still learning new things about myself, but also looking up to those who are in a physically worse position than me. I try to remember those I've lost, and how physically limited they were and still pushed themselves. I keep telling myself "if they can do it I can do it too". You may have to do things in different ways, but don't let it stop you from living your life and doing what you love!
