I have a lot of friends that depend on me to talk them down from things that they'd regret, and I love doing it but it's gotten to the point where they only talk to me if they need help. It's making me more depressed than ever, because the things I hear from the people I care about is a lot to handle. Does anyone have tips to calm myself down? Or to feel better?

That is the worst feeling, when people are hurting, and you can't do anything about it. But you should remember that you are helping just by listening silently. If that's all you can do, then set it aside until you CAN help. Don't be afraid to put yourself first though. Your friends should ask if you're in a good space before they dump their problems on you, and if not, then say no, and they'll respect your feelings too.
