Periods ruin a lot of things including progress with chronic conditions lol. My adhd, anxiety, pain, arthritis and ocd all get worse while I’m on my cycle.

Absolutely happens to me! I usually get in such a dark space then a few days later when my period comes it all makes sense. I’d think I’d be prepared every month for this as I’m in my 40’s but somehow I seem to still get so depressed and have suicidal thoughts and don’t put 2 & 2 together.

Perhaps, ask for a hormone test. I use Mirena IUD and it seems to be helpful since I don't get periods with it. But, I'm also 45 and have 3 kids and had my last at 29.
