YES! my hormones totally override my anti-depressants. my doctor put me on birth control to try to regulate it and it helped a lot :)
Check out PMDD, if it's really bad š my partner will get suicidal and depressed a week before her period starts and apparently it's a super common thing but because it only affects women, there isn't too many studies done on it

It's very common for someone's emotional state to be out of wack during one's menstrual cycle. It's your hormones going nuts. I'm the same way.
I think most peopleās does because we getting worse at emotional regulation which leads to more spiraling. Not for everyone but I think itās pretty common.
