A few questions for fellow potsies! If you became pregnant after your diagnosis how was your pregnancy and delivery? Any details would be greatly appreciated? Also, how did you start exercising? I always seem to have symptoms and it scares me more and just makes me have total fear and anxiety!

Hi! I agree I feel most of my pots symptoms were slightly relieved when I was pregnant but I did have high blood pressure during labor.

I have not had a child myself but my mother has POTS as well as me and her pregnancy was apparently amazing. Since she had a higher blood volume she did extremely well and had no issues or POTS symptoms. Of course, after delivery you lose that blood volume and don’t feel nearly as good. She divorced my dad soon after I was born but she literally killed it as a single mom with all of her medical conditions and I am still alive! As for exercising, the only way to feel safe doing that is to have a trainer or someone with you to help you and are aware of your conditions. It’s so nerve racking until you get comfortable.
