before anybody asks, I'm not clinically diagnosed, but thats mainly because I'm afraid to be put on meds for my possible conditions that may counteract one another or simply make my situation worse. now that that's done, does anybody have any knowledge on controlling yourself when your emotions get too strong or if you have D.I.D. any ways to prevent switching?
DBT has helped me with strong emotions. So has lamictal. CBD was also suggested to me recently. In terms of not switching... No. I don't know how to not do that (also newby/not diagnosed with DID yet).
ah I see, and honestly I don't have any clue either, imean sometimes we switch out super fast and I'm thrown back to reality but it makes me do this weird skweek and headshake thing that's kinda violent sometimes TvT
