im really struggling with my gender identity and cant tell if its cause im autistic or because bpd causes an "unstable sense of self" im well aware being trans isnt inherently because of some condition but im scared of confronting this because i dont have dysphoria about my body just when people use gendered terms for me and i know from other autistics that we tend to reject the gender binary because its just not logical which i agree with?? i was just wondering if anyone else who generally identifies as cis has ever (when confronted with the fact that gender isnt real and made up and theres no innate feeling in you telling you you're man or woman) that they dont wanna be "gendered" anymore even if they're comfortable in their body.

I’m non-binary and had to accept it as fact because no cis person is just mulling over their gender at the rate that I have. Even if people are curious at some point and figure they’re cis it doesn’t compare to the effort I’ve put into figuring myself out. Also autistic people rejecting gender doesn’t make them less fluid. People reject the concept because it doesn’t feel right to them which is valid. If being cis doesn’t fit into your narrative of yourself that’s fine too

I feel this, but right now I'm going by he/they because I present more masculine. I'm genderfluid though. I've been trying to figure out if it's more autism than bpd because some of my symptoms don't match up with the diagnosis.

Hey. I’m cis and personally I thought of this a lot. I am fine with the pronouns she/her but they/them is also OK too. Personally for me I prefer she/her just because I feel more feminine. I wouldn’t mind a they/them because it’s just a gender neutral term. However if one day I decide to be more masc I would feel comfortable with they/them instead. What are your pronouns?
