My husband is not ill. We met when I was stage 3 Lyme and he has never been anything but supportive. He doesn't need to go through the pain to understand the person he loves is miserable. Don't limit yourself there are many compassionate people out there! Good luck💚

It can be helpful to date someone who understands your chronic illness, as they may be more empathetic and supportive. However, it's important to remember that everyone's experience with chronic illness is different, and finding a partner who truly understands and accepts you for who you are is the key to a successful relationship.
