Dealing with PMDD and Endometriosis: Seeking Advice

I have had heavy bleeding and have PMDD. My gyno suggested Provera on the 16tg day of my cycle (16 days after you start bleeding) to thin my uterine lining. She was wary of mist birth control as estrogen could exacerbate the PMDD, but said that Provera (Medroxyprogesterone) can help with heavy bleeding and endometriosis. I haven’t tried it yet. If they offer you birth control, I’ve had better luck with ultra low dose ones as they are gentler with the hormone shifts. Good luck!
