Has anyone had issues with taking progesterone (for endometriosis) and having lots of bleeding? If so, what helped?

      My bleeding was so bad that I had blood clots the size of your hand and then they had to do the d and c surgery

        @Barrfamily oh okay, norethindrone is what I’m on and what I’m having a lot of bleeding on. What dose are you on? Wondering if I need to be on a higher dose

      My gynecologist put me on three different kinds and finally by the third it started helping I also had to get a d and c

        @Barrfamily what did you try if norethindrone didn’t work? I tried combo OCPs in the past and I really didn’t tolerate them well, but that was before my excision surgery so maybe it would be better now. Lost at what to try next! 😥

      Yes I’m on norethindrone! Have been having so much bleeding :(

      I took Provera on top of my estrogen birth control and bled for about 10 months straight but I just switched to an all progesterone birth control called Norethindrone and so far my bleeding has stopped but it’s only been a few days since it stopped because I started 2 weeks ago. Hope this helps
