Need advice for managing endometriosis symptoms

I found a new gyno who recently thinks I have endometriosis, and I think so, too. I found this out last week and was put on a Depo-Provera inject and Citalopram. Apart from exercising and trying to eat right, I'm not sure what I can do to help my symptoms. Any thoughts?

Been on depo for 4 years and although it absolutely sucked to bleed about a liner or two a day for 6-7 months I can say it was well worth it. Still on it and it significantly improves my quality of life. Don’t know what I would do without it and now I spot about 3 times a year

Really? I was told I couldn't be on it for more than 2 years 🫢 I haven't started spotting yet, but I literally took my first shot a week ago so anything could happen

Excision surgery and pelvic floor therapy are great options for symptoms. You can also try norethindrone, I do well on depo too but norethindrone is lower dose so it’s a bit safer long term
