So I don't know if it's just my Anxiety/OCD overreacting about this, but I think I may have Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat)?? It's just started recently, but randomly throughout the day I get this unprompted fluttery feeling in my chest, like my heart's skipping a beat, or I feel a single heartbeat that's a lot stronger than normal. And I've been feeling super dizzy and lightheaded randomly as well, usually after I get that fluttery feeling but sometimes by itself. All my symptoms have matched irregular heartbeat, based on my own research. From what I've noticed it's happening most when I'm not doing anything, like laying in bed or watching TV, but that also might just be the only time I'm really noticing it cause I'm not really doing anything physical and just paying more attention to my body. Sorry for the essay but should I be concerned about this? Should I make an appointment and bring this up to my doctor or am I making a big deal out of something minute? I don't want to go to the doctor if it's just nothing, because the doctor's office spikes my Anxiety and PTSD, but I also don't wanna put this off if this could potentially be something serious.

      You're probably experiencing premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). Everyone gets them, they're not dangerous on their own, your anxiety has just made you acutely aware of every sensation in and on your body. It is absolutely not a big deal at all, you don't have to go to a doctor for it

      I would make an appointment just to be safe. I have started having low blood pressure since I have my daughter (for a little over 3 months now) and I have this same feeling all the time I'll check my BP and it's usually low when this happens. Any health concern that bothers you is worth getting checked even if it is nothing just make sure to mention at the appointment that you have PTSD and anxiety disorders so that they are aware. It could just be a hyperfocus in the moments when you are at rest and your brain forces you to focus on it

      It could just be paranoia It could be what you think it is, I wouldn't take any chances either way I would go see a doctor

      Hi I used to get the same feeling in my heart but I always thought it was heart palpitations. For me, it would happen either because anxiety or because of consuming caffeine. It feels exactly like a fluttery feeling in my chest and feels scary sometimes. I would bring it up to your doctor just to be safe, maybe they can run some tests to rule other health issues out

        @http.sunflower Also idk if you have this option by my doctors have an option for online video or call appointments, so that can prevent you a trip to the doctors office

      I have those, too! I just cough and they go away. My doc says they’re perfectly normal to have on occasion 😊

      There was a period of time in my life where I would obsess over my heartbeat and check it constantly, like 3x daily and fear it was irregular. When I thought it was I could also get that dizziness feeling or dreaded I was going to die soon. Sometimes I still check it but not as much and I can say I don't really get those feelings anymore - so it could be an obsession with the heartbeat. Obviously my experience is not yours but anxiety definitely tricks you into thinking something's wrong when it's not. If there's no reason for your heartbeat to be irregular I would guess it's anxiety
