Great question! I know I’ve struggled with this too. My suggestion would be to find what does you the most good and stick with that over all. If one thing is good for a condition (like eating broccoli) but hurts another condition (like flairs up your digestive disorder) then stay away from it. Your body will be better off being able to utilize its energy on something else instead of dealing with the pain or working overtime to compensate.
definitely depends on how much it helps and makes things worse! I was on a medication for a year bc it helped my ADHD a TON but it made my tics worse, but since I had online school it didn't matter as much. then we went back in person and the amount it helped was outweighed by how bad my tics were so I stopped taking it. it's very case by case, but I would say if it's making one thing worse, it's likely not worth it

I think at the end of the day it comes to which is worse to deal with. If the thing your trying to fix is a major thing and the other thing if flares is just bothersome then the benifit makes it worth it but if the outcome is debilitating then no
