Hopeful for the Future with a New Rheumatologist

And the thing is, I wasn’t nearly this heavy when my issues started. They little by little took my ability to be active away making me gain weight and doctors can’t seem to understand that. Hopefully with you getting tested you’ll get the proper care you need! :)

Every doctor I’ve ever seen has blamed everything I experience on my weight. My first meeting with this rheumatologist was telehealth meaning he only saw my face before ordering tests so maybe that factored into his perception of my case. He saw the data before my appearance rather than my appearance and ignoring data because of it.

I wish you luck ! My rheumatologist blames it all on my weight and I had to beg her for tests, fingers crossed we get diagnosed and proper treatments🤞🏻
