Went to a really overstimulating environment today and did okay. Wearing a comfortable outfit helped me a lot and playing Pokémon Sword on the way there helped as well. What's one thing you do to help prevent overstimulation or at least ease it in some way?

      I’ve turned my Facebook into a “safe space” for when I need a quick escape from being overstimulated or anxious. It sounds like it’d be positivity and cute things—which there’s some—but it’s mostly memes haha

      If I can’t wear ear plugs because I need to be able to hear people, I use the weather or airplane ear plugs. They dampen sound without inhibiting your ability to hear people speaking or things like that.

        @serendi that’s a really good idea, thanks 😇

          @DitsyDiabetic also, I just thought of this because I only recently started doing it, but sunglasses, even lightly tinted fashion ones if you get too self-conscious with it. And sometimes certain smells overwhelm me, so I carry a small tube thingy of a gentle scent that calms me or reminds me of a safe place.

      Weed weed weed. And fidgets. But mostly weed. I can’t go without it in a public place or i lose it. I get overstimulated very easily. If you don’t live in a legal state, like me, delta 8 and delta 10 products really take the edge off, and they’re legal everywhere. If you wanna talk about anything, my inbox is open 💜
