okay so about 4 months ago I started having blacking out episodes where I would feel incredibly dizzy and feel faint I sit down and normally blackout. I told my doctor after listening to me agreed that it sounds like seizures got an EEG and it came back normal with no signs of one but I'm so lost on what this could be I guess I really need help describing what I'm going through to him or if someone has an idea of what it could be I would love to hear it

@BrittneyDock I finally got diagnosed with narcolepsy with caterplexy and sleepiness just a few days ago but I did bring up pots to my doctor when I saw her about a month ago but we had to wait for the sleep study to find out

Have you looked into POTS or dysautonomia?

I've asked my doctor about fibromyalgia because my mother has it and he brushed it off to the side I'm seeing a new doctor in hopes she takes me a lot more serious about these types of concerns. It could honestly be a blood flow issue because I get freezing cold during the attacks my finger and toes get painful cold. However I am being sent for a sleep study next month to see if it is narcolepsy the doctor I meet with said it sounds like I have it but we can't be sure until the sleep study.

Sounds like possibly POTS.

I have fibromyalgia as well and intense migraines.. do you have any other symptoms? Tingling in hands or feet? Also what about bloodwork? I have felt lightheaded before from having low platelets and also do you notice if these episodes happen if you haven't eaten ?
I just got my heart monitor results it came back normal but I had a low of 51 which concerns me but the doctor didn't seemed worried and my EEG and MRI both came back normal. Not gonna lie I'm starting to think it's neurological or possibly firbo. I used to get intense mirgaines as a kid but I got the daith piercing so I only get mild headaches from time to time. However there has been a bit more pressure than usual like I'm about to have a migraine.

I don't know much but maybe look into mini strokes, panic disorder or POTS... do you have migraines??
Yikes that’s not good. To me, if it’s not neurological the next bet would be heart related or vestibular. Did you get an MRI or CT or just EEG?
I'll definitely have to look it up and talk to him about it because the episodes are to the point that I can't work anymore with how much I've been blacking out
My thought is if it’s not seizures and it’s being happening for over 3 months, is it possibly POTS? I believe you that it’s not just anxiety.

It does it happens almost all the time and gets worse when I'm stressed my doctor tried saying it's just anxiety but I've had anxiety since I was 13 and never experienced anything like this the current thing he is thinking it is is syncope but that supposed to go away after a few weeks and I'm been struggling with this for almost 3-4 months now
Is this happening upon standing?
