Is it normal to panic after a loss of a love one? I keep getting panic attacks, guess due to stress…? When I’m stressed I get migraines. Migraines cause me to panic if they are making me dizzy. Just the first question really :/

First of all I am so sorry about your loss. And second of all yes it is very normal to have panic attacks I lost my sweet mother the December before covid hit. And I miss her dearly she was my best friend she was my everything there are still times do I have anxiety cuz I'm missing her so much. It was no practice so I was continuously having panic / anxiety attacks because everybody was wanting me to sue and I just did not have it in me due to panic / anxiety. When your use to seeing somebody in your life and you no longer get to see them that Panic sets in. My prayers are with you 🙏 in your time of need.

I definitely have more panic attacks after losing someone close. I lost my cat (she was 18) in November and I had continuous panic attacks for about a week before they started to lessen. I did a lot of leaning on my family for support. She was a very important part of my life and it was hard to adjust to life without her.

Oh yes. Definitely. I lost my grandmother, who I was very very close to in August and I have panic attacks still about her sometimes. For me, I think it's just because I love her and I miss her and I feel that loss. From what I've learned it's important to let yourself feel every emotion that comes your way. It sucks and it's highly uncomfortable but you just have to let it take its course. Sending you hugs ❤️
