Seeking Advice for Scar Tissue After Foot Surgery

I've had surgery for Mortin's neuroma. It's been 2 years now. And it has developed scar tissue. Just wondering if anybody out there has the same problem. And maybe has found some help. Right now it feels like a large knot not that I'm walking on.

@Lexxi02 I should be more specific. I regretted the sesamoidectomy more so. Sorry about that. It caused more issues than it was worth. Taking a bone out of your foot and not replacing it with anything? Bad idea lol. The neuroma surgery I think went okay. I guess it was overshadowed by the other surgeries. It definitely helped that nervey pain. My toes didn’t tingle anymore and I didn’t feel the same amount of pressure or pain in that area. I haven’t had any issues for 16 years with the neuroma spot but it started bothering me again recently, so I think it came back. Which is possible I read. It was also a pretty quick recovery too compared to other surgeries. And for me, the incision was itty bitty, probably the width of my pinky finger nail which is very small!

This post is from forever ago... So I'm sorry.. But just seeing it. I had Morton's neuroma surgery when I had a sesamoidectomy (which is a surgery I regret in general). About 16 or so years ago. I looked this up on here because I think the neuroma has come back after all these years. I was wondering if yours came back or if it was just scar tissue like you said? And curious how you've dealt with it?

  @E_belli Hi E_belli, I saw this message and I'm thinking about having surgery for my morton neuroma in my foot but I'm reluctant I'm not the biggest fan of surgery but I just can't take the pain anymore, but i don't want to regret it so was just wondering why you regretted it.

I want to do the surgery but I'm scared of this happening. I wanted to do thermal ablation but my Dr said it can cause scar tissue and only lasts 5 years.
