Has anyone had success with a gastric stimulator?

has anyone else had the gastric stimulator? i had mine placed in November with hopes that i would be able to get back on normal oral eating instead of predominant use of my j-tube. so far i haven’t had much luck with it, and covid sent me into a flare that caused my hypokalemia to become critical. now im on fluids through a port three times a week and i just want to know if anyone else has had similar occurrences and if anyone has benefited from the stimulator. i don’t want to be reliant on so many medical devices for the rest of my life. what do you use to treat severe abdominal pain? i can’t seem to catch a break these days…
