Struggling with Fibromyalgia Diagnosis

I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia- because all my blood work comes back totally normal yet I still have pain. I have other symptoms too- fatigue, anxiety, fibro fog, digestive issues- but sometimes I feel like there’s just something MORE. Like sometimes I swear I have an autoimmune issue but nothing comes up. I hate feeling crazy.

        @UCBree I haven’t been to an endocrinologist I will definitely speak to my primary care doctor about a referral

      Do you live in an area that has ticks or have been somewhere that is very populated with ticks? Because lymes disease is often misdiagnosed as fibromyalgia or other illnesses

        @minionmaniac that has crossed my mind! I live in the Midwest and I frequently go on trails so I suppose it’s possible!

      I completely understand… that’s how I ended up diagnosed with fibromyalgia 6 years ago.. im almost to a point where im done fighting for a different diagnosis… im now excepting that fibromyalgia is truly this bad!! I was told it wasn’t progressive and now I understand that the doctor meant im not dying from it however I didn’t know the symptoms could get worse! I honestly feel like I now have a serve case of fibromyalgia… it was never this bad!

        @JustRachelle it is weird! Like for something to be so mysterious yet so problematic - and for doctors to kinda slap that label on when they don’t know what to do, is frustrating… but yeah maybe it really is just this..

          @cannoli yep I’m just now starting to get it like … this could just be it.. it’s scary but I’m always staying hopeful that somebody finds a legit cure that will help everybody
