Coming to Terms with My Fibromyalgia Diagnosis

I’m definitely coming to terms with the fact that I do have fibromyalgia. All of my test have been coming back normal. So I guess this is it. All of these symptoms with no explanation really as to why.. or maybe it is an explanation i don’t know. 😞

Your answer

Your pain, suffering, and frustration is valid! I often feel like I want a different diagnosis so that others will actually take me and my pain seriously. If you struggle with that too, just know that I totally relate and I’m sure many others do too!! ❤️

Same with the above comments and your post, I went through so much testing and I just always thought, this is it, this is the test that's going to come back and explain everything, I just know it. It never was. Being left with the diagnosis of fibro made me feel so down. Having no scientific reason behind fibro confused me so much. Now I just live with it and accept that it is there and it is real. What I feel is real even without a test saying it's real. It's ok if you feel defeated or any kind of negative emotion, I think it's very common when it comes to this disease.

Im currently working on getting the actual diagnosis, and I fear the "you're too young for this" thing going out of hand with things like bloodwork and stuff

I went through this EXACT thing, wanting at least one test to come back with something to "justify" all this pain and suffering. just know you don't need a test to tell you that you're valid and you're completely valid in your own experience. you are HEARD.
