Invalidating My Mental Health Struggles

Maybe they were unsure what to say and thought it was the best thing to say

Man, do I HATE when people think they know better 🙄 it’s a special kind of stupid for someone to assume they can recreate themselves in another person. Why can’t people accept that we can be different sometimes.

I, myself, would not be this person friend anymore. Some people, like me, do not do so good when it comes to "tough love" and it makes me feel worse about myself. I know they are "trying to help" but you need to tell them their type of "helping" is not helping you and it makes you feel worse.
