Does anyone else randomly have days where stimulant meds feel like they're powerful sedatives? I took my normal 30mg methylphenidate this morning and have been drinking caffeinated beverages all day and it feels like I took a strong sedative and I'm dissociating hardcore.

I had the same issue, it seemed like it wasn’t working & almost doing the opposite, it also sent me into a deeper depression than I was. When I look back, it didn’t mix well with my other meds & totally messed up my decision making. I had to stop taking that or any type of stimulants

ADHD can cause caffeine to have the opposite affect, because of chemicals, i don't understand it entirely but it's most likely the caffeine putting you to sleep

@SaviorOfRats At first I thought that, but normally I don't have that severe a reaction to the same dose (or even higher).
What is methylphenidate??

@Luker also known as Ritalin
Yeah I've felt that before. I don't know what causes it but it happens to me. I'm on the same medicine too.
