Struggling with New Depression Meds

so today I had a breakdown and basically spiraled from there I started new meds for my depression so I could have motivation but I feel like the spirals keep coming and the meds aren't helping with those how can I explain that to my doctor when I basically just started these meds?

I also take bupropion it takes a while to start working and it does help but you may need something else with it depending on treatment.. for me it helps with ADHD and depression. Mainly it gives me the energy to function throughout the day… I’m still depressed but idk if that’s me or just the things happening in my life either way it has helped in some way
