Do I have BPD if I don't have an FP?

Okay but like... Can I really have bpd if I don't have an fp and my abandonment issues aren't extreme? Like I have almost all of the other symptoms, internalized but still.

      Yes! You only have to have 7 of the 9 traits of BPD to have BPD. :) Also, symptom severity varies from person to person. So even though your abandonment issues aren't extreme, they may still be present

      BPD is different for everyone. Totally possible you can have it! But it can also be a sign of another disorder as well

      I personally don’t and I have MANY BPD signs . Regardless of favorite person. I’ve maybe attached to people easily, but most of the time I’m a empty void. Just like with every mental illness we won’t all have the same symptoms. Like with my OCD for example I don’t obsess about certain types.

          @Dolly_Bunn oh, I'm not sure! When I was diagnosed the psychiatrist told me "you have to have 7 to be diagnosed but you seem to have all 9" maybe he just decided that personally? 😅 I'd have to research it more or check when the updated DSM is out
