Struggling with Motivation

I also struggle with motivation, even for things that I like and want to do. It’s like, I think of something I’d like to do, then the immediate next thought is, “nah, that’s not exciting/novel/engaging enough” so I just sit and keep scrolling on my phone. It’s a habit I’d like to change, and I’ve had some success just asking friends to be accountability partners. Just to check in on how it’s going, or to give you reminders. You’re not alone!

Yes! It's quite hard to keep focused on whatever matter I try to accomplish. It's really hard to do what I try my best to do It's really complicated even with support.

i have a very difficult time with motivation, although if i’m not unmotivated i’m hyper focused. it’s so difficult especially when it’s something i know i can do. like putting on clothes. It’s not hard, but i can’t bring myself to do it. the complete lack of motivation can be super frustrating.
