Menstrual Spotting During Menopause: Is it Normal?

I am 58 years old i still have menstrual spotting..my doctor says its just part of menopause..My pap smears and blood work all come back perfect..doctor tells me i still have active ovaries..It seems this happens when i have a UTI also..I am so afraid of cancer..so stressed..

      @girlsey Im 59 and spot or bleed a fewtimes per year. Gyn assured me that I am in menopause. You are definitely not alone

      It's good everything seems normal to your doctors, but it doesn't solve the enigma of the spotting. You say it happens more around the time you have UTI's. Could you be passing kidney stones?

        @MayGirl i did pass stones and had them tested they were stones that were caused by so many UTIs ..i just dont know if its normal to be spotting at my age..

          @girlsey I wouldn't think it would be considered normal to be spotting from the uterus if you're post menopause, but I know I'm not a doctor. However I do know that passing kidney stones causes spotting
