Experiencing Hair Loss and Liver Pain on Lyrica

Lyrica just makes me feel weird not tired and I'm on 150mg. It almost makes me feel like I'm going to have a seizure but thats the price I pay for it helping my pinched sciatica that I can't unpinch unless i have disx replacement surgery.

As an update - I am still on lyrics 25mg, twice a day, I experienced liver & kidney pain, so my Dr. ordered a blood test to check. I’m seeing improvements in my pain, but I’d have to consult with my Dr. to see if I should stay at 25mg or is it required to up the dose to 50mg, twice a day. If my liver & kidney function are good, I’d have to take lyrics for 6-8 weeks and come off of it.

I too take both. I feel like Cymbalta doesn’t do crap but I had bad withdrawal symptoms when I didn’t take it for 3 days. As for Lyrica, I have never had bad side effects besides fatigue so I take my Lyrica only at night in a much higher dose. I would speak to your doctor and see if it is negatively interacting with other meds or supplements you are on. I am sorry you are having such site effects

Anonymous100 I am so sorry. I use Lyrica and Cymbalta for Fibromyalgia and it works. I had to get passed about a month of sleepiness, but this the only thing that has stopped the pain. I would talk with your PCP and see if this is Lyrica or the hair growth drug. Lyrica can be hard to get off of so you may want to get your docs opinion.
