I take it for neuropathy. I take 200mg in the am and again at night. I will really feel it if I forget to take a dose. But with the other medications it has helped my nerve pain. I have been on it for about 8 or 9 years now. I had to come down on my dose because it was making me have medication induced sleep apnea. So just be really careful about any breathing issues. I wish you well oh your healing journey!

I have fibromyalgia, Psoriatic Arthritis and Pudendal Neuralgia and Lyrica has helped more than anything I've ever tried. Takes a bit of time for the side effects to get better but for me it's been worth it. I'm currently on 50-75 mg morning and mid day and 100 mg at night. Spreading the doses every 6 hours helps. Sending you healing thoughts. 💜💜💜💜

For me if helps a lot with nerve damage I have in my face due to tmj issues, however I have to keep taking it, I've tried weaning off and the pain comes back, but while I take it I have few side effects, no issue of weight gain

I take 150mg every night and have for the past 8 years. Soooo idk what it is like off it besides when I forget to take it I am not even human the next day. Unfortunately my body has become dependent on it and even at a high dose it isn’t enough. But it does allow me to function semi normally. As for weight gain, I never had that issue. In fact, with my age and metabolism I have trouble gaining weight even on it. Side effects are different for everyone.

The trick for me was a very slow increase. Also spacing doses. I take at 9:30 am, 3:30 pm and 9:30 pm with largest dose at night. The only side effect I experience now is minor dry mouth.

I'm on 150 mg a day. It's helping with Pudendal Neuralgia, Fibromyalgia and Psoriatic Arthritis. Had to slowly increase.

LOL sorry for my multiple messages. The side effects will go away once you come off of Lyrica.

I can’t tolerate this medication and I’m at a low dose already, 25mg twice daily.

I’m in the middle of taking lyrica, so I don’t know about the pain coming back. In regards to weigh gain, it should be minimal if you’re maintaining healthy diet & exercise. My body mostly retains the water, but as soon as you come off of it, your body will start getting rid of the excess water.
