Dating Woes: Pressure to Go Off Testosterone for Birth Control

I mean T4T has been great for me, having a partner who understands me and my body even helped with a lot of my gender dysphoria and what was left of my sex repulsion which I didnt even think I needed. It's also really great to never have to worry about my transition being in question over a partner's life goal or preference like that which is the main reason I decided to lean into it too. But also if you aren't actually interested in that and would prefer birth control there are some types that can be taken while on testosterone.

You can have both birth control and T, you just have to find the right bc that works. I have an IUD and was told when I get on T I won't have to take it out. Do what YOU want, not what THEY want!

It’s up to you, but I would never stop taking T just so my partner doesn’t have to use a condom. HRT is something that’s important for being who you want to be, and this person wanting you to give that up so they don’t have to put a thin layer of plastic over their p seems like a dick move (pun intended). I may not have all the context, and if it’s something that you also want then definitely discuss with your doctor the best route to take, but if you’re just trying to do what your crush wants so they’ll like you, you’ll probably regret it later.
