Does anyone else experience paranoia as a symptom of your PTSD? If so, how do you handle it? It feels so drowning sometimes.

I'm super paranoid. My counselor told me that when I'm safe I should tell myself that but I'm never REALLY safe right? My brain is constantly saying at any moment this could happen and you wouldn't see it coming. I dont make any promises bc theres always a slight chance of it not happening.

I say to away from crowded that don't have an behind the scenes far a way enough that no one touches me
We do sometimes. We usually write down what we're thinking. It's worse when we've been triggered.
i get very paranoid about everything. Usually i’ve just shut it down but recently i’ve been trying to keep myself occupied with anything that will hold my attention. I also have found that having company (even just a pet) is very helpful too. 💕
I do. I have just learned to try to ignore it a smidgen if it sounds a bit over the top and write the paranoid feelings down.
@JessiRae Thank you! I may have to try that. The hardest part for me is remembering to keep writing honestly.
