i’m so incredibly stressed out. i’m currently working a minimum wage job and need to be looking for an apartment at some point. i have no sort of money management skill at all, so in turn i’m constantly broke. i just feel like i’m in a never ending loop of working and getting nothing out of it. i have goals and things i want to do with my life but it genuinely doesn’t feel like it’s meant for me. i’m so used to things going wrong and not working out that i don’t know what it feels like to not have to worry

I feel this so much, my ADHD gets I'm the way of my goals so much, sometimes it feels like I'm not capable of being a functional human. I just try to remind myself that everyone deserves happiness, and as long as I'm doing my best, I can't beat myself up about it. It helps a little, even in the days when I can't bring myself to fully believe it. For budgeting, have you tried one of the apps to automate your budget?

have you ever tried getting a serving job? i got one to help manage my adhd and channel my energy and it’s been great, along with amazing money. it’s full of repetition and it’s face paced, i also thrive while talking to a bunch of people so it gives me more energy

I’ve been there. But I’m currently on disability because of my inability to function properly.

@louloucrybaby I use Albert, but there are a lot of similar apps out there. It connects to my bank account and automated my budget. I can ask it whether I can afford a certain purchase, or look at how much money I'm expected to have left for the month. I also have it set up to automatically transfer money to savings, and since it's already analyzed my spending, it takes small amounts I won't notice, and it's pretty good at that.
